Every child is unique and our staff take the time to get to know each and every one. All children have a Key Person who will act as a "secure base," enabling children to feel emotionally safe, reducing separation anxiety, and fostering confidence to explore, play, and learn.

2014
We opened our doors for morning sessions as 'Riverside Nursery School' in September 2014. We were started by a qualified and experienced primary school teacher with a passion for the Early Years.
2016
We had our first OFSTED Inspection on 29th September 2016 and were rated 'Good'
2017
We began offering afternoon sessions.
2019
We registered as a limited company
2020
We survived the pandemic! We stayed open for Key Workers, especially NHS staff so that they could get to work and save lives.
2022
We had our second OFSTED Inspection on 8th March 2022 and were rated 'Good'
2026
We changed our name to Riverside Playschool to better reflect what we do.
